Wow ! We loved everything about this cute hotel. The staff goes out of their way to make the visitors feel welcome. The breakfast they offer is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. We will definitely stay here when we visit Merida again. ❤️

Very nice boutique hotel centrally located in the heart of Merída. It is in the safe part of town and close to shopping and restaurants. Adriana at the front desk was super helpful with helping me book train tickets to Cancun. Rooms were spacious , clean and had nice decor. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Great boutique hotel in a fascinating city. The hotel is located on one of the main shopping streets with wonderful artisanal shopping, fine dining along with a range of relaxed options too. The staff are kind and speak some English which is helpful for travellers such as myself. Thankyou for the stay.

Very welcoming hotel. Stylish lobby area and very nice rooms with architectural details. Good area in Merida. The pool could have been a little warmer (it was winter), but overall we loved it, and felt very taken care of.

The hotel couldn't be in a better location. All parks, museums, and restaurants are within walking distance. The continental breakfast was a bonus and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied.

Great restful stay

From the moment my car pulled up the welcome was warm and gracious. The hotel is a gorgeous old colonial. My room was bright sunny and enormous. It had a very large private veranda. The room had a deep soaking tub, large shower, walk-in closet and double vanity. Bed was very comfortable. And much more..location, pool, breakfast.

We stayed here and really loved how convenient everything was to us. Super easy walks. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was nice but it felt at times the room wouldn’t cool down. It helped to put the fan on but the fan needed to be dusted. The pool was nice. Breakfast was nice that it was free.

LOUD! Construction next door was loud and early morning to midnight. Room had a smell of mold. The people were very nice. They saw we were hot when we arrived and they immediately gave us water.

The location is perfect for us. We feel safe and the street where the hotel is located is well lighted. Lots of activities along Calle 60. The property is well maintained. We booked the family room, comfortable beds, clean beddings, toilet, shower room and water supply was great! My husband is very picky but he loved this hotel. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good. There is always a staff in the lobby to welcome guest even if you arrived late for check-in. I highly recommend Acqua in Bocca in Merida Centro.

The overall experience was great . 1.- Staff great , friendly always willing to help and assist . 2.- Location : great , central . Walk distance to all the colonial like attractions . Close to paseo Montejo. 3.- breakfast: fruits , granola , yogurt , toast . Definitely nice and healthy . Not large america style breakfast. 4.- the hotel has a great potential , rooms are nice , clean and spacious. However , I feel It needs a refreshment, it’s borderline outdated and need some love in terms of maintenance in the common areas , perhaps some decoration and ornaments.

I received a recommendation for this hotel as well located in Merida Centro. What we experienced was beyond anything we expected. Gino and his team did such a fantastic job of hosting us. The rooms was full of character and very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. Very clean and pool was refreshing in the Merida afternoons. The concierge service was always, always checking with us to make sure we were happy and our needs were taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel. When we return we will be booking with Acqua in BOCCA again.

Really nice hotel in a really good location. Only reason I've given 4* is because of the noise - every single night we could hear singing from a local bar (and thumping music) until very late at night/early in the morning. It might not bother everyone but we found it hard to sleep. It might be room dependent as well, and perhaps we were unlucky. But other than this everything else was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a spacious room, comfy bed, complimentary water bottles came in handy. Complimentary continental breakfast was provided but we opted for trying out the numerous restaurant options around. The location is perfectly situated to explore the town. The one thing we weren't too thrilled about was there was no hot water coming out of the shower. The water was only mildly warm which thankfully wasn't too big of a problem because the weather was so hot, a cooler shower was refreshing, we didn't address this issue with management. I could see this being a problem if you prefer hot showers. Overall we enjoyed our stay. All of the hotel staff we encountered and interacted with were very nice, friendly, and helpful. We would choose to stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for eight nights during our trip to Mérida, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were truly exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to our needs. Daniella, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The breakfast and coffee were excellent and made it easy to start each day, especially while traveling with our 8-month-old baby. The staff even seemed to anticipate what we might need, which made our experience relatively stress-free. Our room was large, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was soundproof and had blackout curtains, which ensured we got a restful sleep each night. While the room had multiple windows, they were all very high up, so there was no view outside. The location of the hotel was very central, making it easy to walk to key attractions, restaurants, and shops in Mérida. The hotel itself was spotless, and the pool area provided a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic choice for our stay. It combined comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service in a convenient location. Highly recommended, especially for families!
