Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and spacious enough for all of us and the pool table was a great addition to this home. Will definitely book again when in Merced.

Disappointed

Property listing is untrue, there is no pool only a pool table, there is no dining table, or other furniture in the downstairs rooms. The kitchen was a mess, cooking stuff, plates, even silverware was barely there, we actually had to share so everyone could eat. Owner cut the grass the day we checked in, but didn't blow all the grass clippings off the sidewalks. Basically, what your renting is something left over from a divorce where the wife took what she wanted, and someone is renting out the rest.

Upon arrival, we discovered mold in the coffee pot. We also found used, loose contact lenses on one of the bedroom nightstands. We contacted the host immediately and told them we didn’t feel comfortable or safe staying. Left within about half-hour and requested refund. Have yet to see the refund (over a week since the request). The owner has tried playing games - alleging 2k damage to their A/C, etc. Just a laughable and ridiculous situation, given we were in the house for roughly 30min. Glad we purchased the insurance, so they can now sort this A/C situation out with VRBO. Anyway - “renter beware”.
