「We had a fantastic stay here. Breakfast service to our room was amazing. Getting to sit outside in the morning with delicious food taking in the views were a highlight. Giuliano, the driver who shuttled us into Bellagio, was also fantastic. Would highly recommend!」

「Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.」

The room had an unusual set up and was difficult to access/store our bags. There was no surface or space big enough to put them (we had small bags!). The shower was in the same room as the bed. Bathroom area was clean and modern except it only had a sheer curtain on the giant window and didn’t offer much privacy when the lights were on (this was REALLY weird!). It’s...

「Lovely, quiet stay, good breakfast and breathtaking view! Just a heads-up, there’s no ramp at the entrance, so you’ll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A/C wasn’t available during our stay either. The weather was nice for keeping the windows open, but with allergy season, it’s kind of a trade-off: either close the window and deal with the heat, or open it and deal with allergies.」

「We couldn’t find a hotel in Milan. This hotel was available one hour away, so we booked it. We’re glad that we did, basic services for a traveler, nice people, family owners, the area is full of small towns and beautiful lakes and rivers. Nicer than Como.」

「Great hotel with fantastic balcony views of Lake Como. Very spacious and well kept grounds around the hotel with ample parking. Extremely helpful and friendly hotel staff who go the extra mile for anything you may need. Very clean rooms. Breakfast options were very good with lots of different options. Based a short walk from restaurants and ferry and bus terminals for transport to other locations around the Lake Como.」
