Great for family holiday

Everyone enjoyed staying at the villa , plenty of room for all of us and it’s like a home from home with everything you need The villa met our holiday requirements as described as we wanted a lovely base to enjoy a peaceful holiday but still able to get around the island Host is very approachable and helpful. Would recommend for a family or larger group :)

Relaxing holiday

We enjoyed the pool and the kitchen was well stocked. When we had a few issues the host responded quickly and sorted things out. The town has really good restaurants for eating out. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend this property.

Perfect!

Karen went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing holiday! She offered to take us to the supermarket on arrival, which was greatly appreciated and then gave us a tour around Mellieha. We couldn't have asked for a better host or property! Absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Family Holiday

We had a very nice stay at Karens House. We were 12 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. Karen is very helpfull. She drove us to the supermarket on our first day, and she always answered any questions immidiately. The area surrounding Karens House is very quit, which we appreciated. We found a nice path along the coast which lead us to a hidden and very beautiful Beach. The walk from the House to the Beach is only 30 minutes. We can only recommend it.

We'd stay here again!

We visited as a group of 9 adults. The house is very spacious and in a good location. Karen, the owner, is very kind and easy to deal with. This place worked well for us, and we'd stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay with my family , age ranging from 1 years to 81 years . Beautiful, spacious villa , great for a large group, Karen the host was friendly, helpful and always on hand to give advice about anything , a great base for exploring beautiful Malta , highly recommend

Beautiful Villa in an idyllic location

My family of 11 spent 8 days in this beautiful villa. Our hosts Karen and Pedro were so helpful. Karen drove us to the local supermarket on our first night to stock up with provisions. The Villa is located in such a peaceful part of Malta. Thank you so much Karen and Pedro for making our Malta holiday a happy and memorable one

Wonderful get together in a perfect setting

We took the whole family to visit Malta Everyone enjoyed the whole experience Pool is great lots of crockery etc Plenty for everyone Great size fridge Two large tables one inside and one outside We spent most of the time outside House has everything you need 6 bedrooms barhrooms Only one bathroom has a curtain in the bath would have prefered glass Otherwise everything was perfect Supermarket and busstop about 20 minute walk away

lovely spacious , fantastic villa home from home

Me and my extended family stayed at this villa in september , eight of us in total and there was plenty of room for us all and loads to spare, the lady that runs the place arranged a taxi the airport for us and right awwy as soon as we got.there she made us feel like we were long lost family or something ,offering to show us the local shops and making sure we had everything we needed for our week in the sun. The villa is in a very nice quiet arra of mellieha but walking distance to the sea and shops, although to be honest it was hard to drag ourselves away from the place and just lounging by the large swimming pool and having barbecues and things took up most of our week. Cleanliness was fantastic which was good because my sister in law is an absoloute cleanaholic and even she was impressed with the standards. Overall the villa is situated very well for the fantastic mellieha beach and local tourist spots of bugibba and golden bay, not too far away from the ferry port for the other island of gozo and yet still lovely and quiet for an away from it all holiday with no hassles at all. During our stay there was a village festa taking place and some of the friendly neighbours invited us to join them to celebrate as the area seems to be mainly residential and very very friendly, the maltese certainly know how to make their guests feel welcome and i will most certainly be talking my family into a repeat visit to the area and especially this villa Thank you karen and her family for such a wonderful time

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus rundherum wohlgefühlt, insbesondere bei den extrem heißen Temperaturen war der großzügige Pool eine Wohltat. Sehr empfehlenswert und sehr großzügig, auch für größere Familien bzw mit Kindern verschiedener Altersstufen, da genügend Schlaf- und Badezimmer vorhanden!

Beautiful Villa set in the hills above the sea.

We were a family celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary so our range was 5 to nearly 80. The villa was perfect we had enough rooms for the entire family with the pool and BBQ it made it a perfect place for our holiday. You will need a car as the supermarket is at the top of the hill and the wonderful beaches are at the bottom. The area is full of sandy beaches which the grandchildren loved and the area and island is packed with historical sites. Karen the owner lives next door and could have not been more helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to everyone.

Two sunny pools

A large lovely villa in a very quiet location , but near enough to local shops, restaurants and beaches . The inside of the villa ls furnished and equipped to a high standard . The two pools are in the sun all day , we spent a lot of time in them and relaxing by them . On google maps it shows a building site next door , but this not the case it is Karens own beautiful villa there now . We would really recommend this villa for your stay in Malta

Wonderful family getaway

Three generations had a wonderful week-long holiday at this property. The house was fantastic for all, well equipped, easy to manage and the pools were absolutely perfect. We had two pre-schoolers who adored the kids pool and the whole group spent hours and hours in the main pool. There are plenty of loungers, a great table on the terrace for dinner and Karen's hospitality was great. She kindly took us to the supermarket on our arrival, helped with all transfers and was always on hand for any minor issues or questions we had. The beach and town were both a short drive away and Karen was able to offer lots of advice. I would highly recommend this property for a family holiday. Thanks Karen!

Large, very nice pool

The villa was nice but not elegant. Karen, the owner, lived next door and she and her husband were always available for assistance. The refrigerator did not really freeze and leaked water which Karen replaced. For a large family, this was a good place.

Beautiful Villa Sunny Side

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Malta staying at Villa Sunnyside. The villa is situated in a quiet residential part of Mellieha and is in close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. We didn’t hire a car during our stay, instead we opted to use the excellent bus service to get around the island. The villa itself had absolutely everything that you could possibly need for a self catering holiday and is very well equipped throughout. The pools are lovely. Although a little chilly for us adults as we were staying at the beginning of April, the children were in water at every opportunity, giving us time to relax on the spacious terrace. Karen and Patrick made us feel extremely welcome and Karen’s mum even drove us to a nearby supermarket to stock up with some provisions for our stay. Overall, this is a beautiful villa maintained to an excellent standard throughout which gave us the perfect holiday in Malta. Hopefully we’ll return!

Wir - eine Gruppe von 10 Personen - konnten einen wundervollen Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft und auf Malta verbringen. Es war sehr sauber, ansprechend und durchdacht eingerichtet. Die Küche und das Wohnzimmer boten genügend Platz für alle. Beeindruckend war auch der große Kühlschrank, den man ja auch für so viele Leute braucht. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl fühlen können. Die Umgebung war ruhig und lud zur Entspannung ein. Sehr angenehm war, dass auch draußen am Pool eine extra Toilette ist. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr gut. Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft beziehen. ******* Thanks a lot, Karen*******

Very nice villa in a good location on the island

Villa was as described and kept in a very good condition. The pools are both very well maintained. We were a group of 12 and the property did not feel small in any way. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to self cater (we do). The bedrooms are all very nice all with air condition units. The owners are lovely people (thank you John & Karen) who are only too happy to help you plan your stay. The villa is appointed on a quiet residential street and just outside Mellieha. There are shops nearby for you to buy groceries. Try the local bakeries which serve up lovely breads and pastries. In my opinion the villa is situated on the best part of the island - Gozo is closeby there are some lovely small beaches also nearby (there aren't many beaches on the Southern side of the island). The ancient capital of Mdina is closeby and well worth a visit. Valleta is definitely worth spending a day and I would suggest taking the local buses (they are frequent and clean) as parking in Valleta is very tricky. Stay at this villa is recommended. You will not be disappointed.
