The Great Southern Hotel is in a perfect location, a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross (the main train and bus hub in Melbourne). It's also within the free team zone which makes for free and convenient transportation to most downtown locations. The hotel itself was great! Checkin and checkout were both easy, the room and facilities were very clean, and the staff was very hospitable and helpful.
