In the heart of picturesque Mount Dandenong (only 45 min from Melbourne CBD), on a 10-acre property, is a luxury romantic hideaway, one of Mt Dandenong's best kept secrets. A home away from home, four poster bed, open fire, indulgent spa, full kitchen with a Continental breakfast hamper included for the first 2 days of your stay.

While staying in this gorgeous BB you will experience the beauty of the Dandenong Ranges flora and fauna as Merrow is nestled among giant mountain ashes, centenary tree ferns, colourful camellias and rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and magnolias. Merrow Cottages are superbly located just 1km from Olinda where you can find a bottle shop, a bakery, a supermarket and restaurants. We are only 10 min from SkyHigh/Observatory and close to most wedding venues. Perfect for honeymoons! We have more accommodation on site if you would like to prepare for your wedding nearby.

Bright, light filled house in the Dandenong Ranges. Well looked after, fantastic gardens full of life and colour and the sounds of nature. Comfortable and warm retreat just right for the two of us. Close to great restaurants.

What a stunning property. The garden cottage is so quaint and beautifully furnished. Very comfy bed and that spa!!! Did the forest walk at night and the pleasure of meeting the very nice owner. Was the perfecy honeymoon. We will be back!

Stunningly beautiful

We stayed at The Garden Cottage for our honeymoon. We could not have picked a better place! The grounds and perfectly landscaped gardens and forest are spectacular during the day and night. The hot tub with garden views is absolutely beautiful and everything in the cottage is thoughtfully designed and super comfy. Communication with Emelia was so easy and she was quick to respond.

The Perfect Getaway

My partner and I spent a weekend away at this wonderful cottage. Equipped sufficiently and beaitifully maintained. The garden was magnificent. We loved the hot tub. Host was communicative. I would recommend 100%
