The character of this hotel met and even exceeded my expectations. The staff were very accommodating when our ferry was cancelled due to weather conditions (not to say they could do that every time I’m sure depending on reservations but they acted quickly and communicated every step of the way). Breakfast was fantastic and again - loved the look of the hotel. 」

The staff was amazing, they helped us get a driver from the airport and had someone meet us at the road to carry our bags up the steep hill and steps! 「The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The view is amazing from the deck area. It’s in the busy area of Fira but you have a ton of privacy which is rare for that area. Once you get to your room, you can’t hear any of the crowd noise.

「We LOVED our stay at Lava Suites! The view over the Med and volcano was spectacular. The courtyard was comfortable and yet very near shopping and dining options. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. The lodging was sizable and interesting in how it was built into the hill. For a great Santorini-Fira experience I would recommend Lava Suites as a first choice. 」
