The bathroom window needed attention to close properly, but there was a heater to keep the room warm. We appreciated the table and chairs, and the communal sitting room with real fire. "Although the room was dated and could use a bit of sprucing up, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the kitchen was ample for making coffee and a quick breakfast. I was on the second floor and the steps up were shallow, making it easy to take luggage up and down. The hotel is located across the street from grocery stores and the shops/restaurants are just down the main street, all within walking distance."
