"The front desk staff were very kind, and the accommodations were well-maintained."

"Wonderful location close to the lake and old town. The A/C worked really well, which was so nice! Breakfast buffet is wonderful but can get crowded. Only issues were a very small shower, and a large window (without any curtain) in the bathroom. Other guests could see right in so we ended up having to hang a towel over the window for privacy."

"A beautiful old hotel in the heart of the pedestrian part of the town. You do have to walk up a steep hill or many steps though if you go down to the lake! My only criticism would be there is absolutely no fresh air in the bedroom, I realise it's an old hotel so I'm not sure how you would change that..... The car parking is also a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you can unload before going to the parking area."

"Room was on 4th floor, no elevator, no air conditioning, like an oven in the room. As seniors, we could not handle going up so many stairs with heavy luggage. Check in was very slow. But to her credit, the girl at the front desk found alternative rooms at sister hotel, Wildermann Hotel, just down the street a little further. Rooms there were very nice, desk agent was a sweetheart, rooms were very nice and great restaurant"

"It is a bit difficult to find the hotel and the roads around such do little to help but....it is worth it. Traditional hotel in an excellent position on the Lake. Easy to visit other areas Staff could not have been more helpful. "

"Das Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick war fantastisch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Sauberkeit ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück war insgesamt sehr schön, lediglich die Semmeln waren nicht ganz frisch. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel."
