Der Weg zum Strand großteils schattig und abseits der Straße. Täglich Markt in Vensac, so dass wir uns mit den allerbesten Lebensmitteln eindecken konnten. Surfkurse, Radverlei, sehr gute Restaurants. Danke auch an Cécile für einen insgesamt perfekten Aufenthalt."

"This property is beautiful and the owners are amazing! There was plenty of room for 4 couples and the outdoor space is an added bonus. Unfortunately the weather was very rainy and chilly so never were able to use the pool. The owners go above and beyond, from going on our first grocery store run, to setting up a dinner with a chef, which introduced us to some traditional French foods. They also provided us with some nice wine and truly wonderful hospitality."

"Fabulous fisherman's cabin, just the place if you want to get away from noise and people. Was wonderful to sit on the front decking listening to the water, seabirds and nightingales Cabin fantastically well equipped for both cooking and eating. Beds were comfortable A simple, homely cabin. Not for you if you are used to 5* hotels. Fabienne was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome "

"Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans un très bel hébergement meublé et équipé avec soin. Idéal pour les vacances d'été, avec une piscine et l'océan Atlantique au coin de la rue. L'environnement est magnifique, les commerces variés. Le marché de Soulac-sur-Mer (Marché municipal) est fortement recommandé. Les plages sont spacieuses et peu fréquentées. Rien ne s'oppose à un voyage à Bordeaux. Nous reviendrons sûrement. La communication avec nos hôtes était très amicale, simple et toujours...

We loved the location with many activities for the children different ages. There was always something to do or visit. Lacanau-Océan is a great vibrant place with many bars and restaurants for an evening meal or just a drink. The owner was very responsive and always willing to help. We forgot a work laptop which he returned to us via post to UK soon after. We...

"We have just returned from a wonderful week in Lacanau. The villa is so well equipped, it really does have everything you need. It is clean and the beds are comfy. The pool is fantastic and the view of the lake wonderful. The villa is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The lake is down quite a long, steep hill from the villa - you may need to drive if you have lots of little children or kit. Cycling is so easy, you have to go down the hill and through to Le Moutchic to access the main cycle...

"Lovely house ... lovely location.200 meters from the beach great local shops including marche de parc , well furnished house with plenty of character.. Accommodating 2 families (10 people in total) .. minor inconvenience being having to make up the beds on arrival after a long journey , the quality of the linen did not match the high standard expected for the money spent on renting the property.. also a a lack of towels despite being listed in inventory .. .. However we would all return to this...

"With 7 members of the party keen to surf every day, this was an ideal location - 10 mins drive from Gurp beach (with a small parade of cafes and restaurants just beyond the campsite). It was also within easy reach (20-30 mins)of the pretty seaside resort of Soulac , supermarkets, petrol stations, local vineyards (with walk-in free tastings) and open markets as well as the bigger surf resort of Hourtin plage (and lake). The beach chalet itself was well equipped (once the broken oven was replaced)...

"Nice and friendly stuff, speaking English. Our room had nice view of Grosse Cloche, btw, property located just about five minutes walk from it and other local restaurants and shops. We definitely will use them if came back to Bordeaux. "
