"This property was absolutely amazing. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I loved the amenities. It was very clean and comfortable. The amenities are extremely close and the pool and hottub were well kept. The lake was wonderful to swim in, and I enjoyed kayaking. The nearby restaurant was great. The owner of the property was very accessible and friendly, and she even provided contacts for local tours, private boats, and cuisine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!"

"Do not know where to start. WE PREPAID when we registered, but the owner said we needed to make another full. There were only two plates, no cutting knives, the glasses had sticky goo all over them, the stove did not work, there was no drinking water available. The couch is a very very old futon that looks like it has been picked off the street. The front door knob came off the second time we used it (it was loose and was about to fall off when we arrived). "A breathtaking scenery. Beautiful home. We travelled with small children. The hike to the house was a challenge. Every time we made it to the house we felt it was worth it. Be prepared to climb quite a distance by foot on a narrow path. There is lots to do in San Marcos and the neighbouring towns of San Juan and Panajachel are a must visit. Overall a beautiful place with a beautiful view. "
