This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place.

Great hotel, stunning views over Laguna de Apoyo. The hotel provides shuttle service to the Lagoon and into Granada at 9 and 1, with pick ups at 1 or 4. They can also arrange drop offs and pick up at other times for a small charge. Its perfect for people who want a 5 star hotel away from the noise and busy city. Conviently located to Laguna de Apoyo and you get a discount when you go to the Beach Club, and if you go early enough, you'll have the Lagoon to yourselves. Ricardo and Gordon are...

Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. Our cabana was absolutely huge with a top floor lounge and balcony with views of the lake. Don’t just want to go back, want to move there!!! Will be a regular stop any time we are in Nicaragua. Although it’s a business hotel I stayed there with a friend while on vacation. we felt comfortable, safe and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. The staff were very accommodating and always willing to help. The complimentary breakfast is a must. Fresh fruit juices, specialized omelettes, delicious coffee, waffles, pancakes and soooo much more. The drinks at the bar were good and their lunch/dinner food was also delicious. Stayed for 4 days in October. All hotel staff was very helpful arranging taxis and places to go.
Breakfast every morning was delicious. Great pool to cool off. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the room was comfortable and clean. Lovely colonial feel and can't beat the location. Had a great time.

I have never experienced a more accommodating staff. Very friendly, understanding and when they say they will take care of yours needs or procure transportation or a delivery they do.

This historic building was beautiful, spacious, and tranquil. There aren't many rooms, so even though it was full when I stayed there, it did not feel like a busy hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only warning is that the pool (the first ever built in Granada, I'm told) is very shallow. It is in great shape and looks lovely, but if you want to do laps you won't have much room to work with. The hotel is only a couple blocks from Central Park, so it is close to everything but...
