"Pool not open, too cold out, friendly staff"

"It does not look that old, but it does not look clean. The carpets are dirty and smelly, all the furniture looks dirty. The first room we were given smelled like something died there. You can't open those glass doors for some air. Broken toilet, some pipes left in the bathroom... People who work there were nice. Breakfast was ok. "

"The building and surrounding areas were fine, the employee that welcomed us was super friendly and helpful. But we booked a NON SMOKING room, and the one they assigned us was a slammed on the face as soon as we opened the door of smoke smell. The sheets and pillows smelled like if someone were there actually smoking cigarettes, our clothes got all the smell impregnated on it and the next day after checking out we spend the day in a laundromat washing everything. We wasn’t able to sleep at all because I have a really bad allergies specially of a smoke and I sneezed like 20,00000 times. Unfortunately we checked in around 2:30am so our options weren’t many to look for another place to sleep at that time, but we checked out around 8 ish after taking a shower to try to get the smell out of us. I wanted to bring up as well the floor feels sticky. The kitchen area of the room is updated with new appliances but the bathroom didn’t look that nice. I’m very disappointed. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house for our first family vacation with our two little ones! The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for traveling with kids. It truly felt like a home away from home.The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, and everything you could possibly need, which made it really easy to cook and stay in when we wanted. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the couch was beyond comfy, which was perfect for relaxing after long days exploring with the kids.I personally misunderstood the location and thought it was walking distance to the beach, but that was on my part when booking. However, it is walking distance to the beautiful river walk, which ended up being such a peaceful and beautiful spot for stroller walks with the kids.The beaches are only about a 15 minute drive!One of the best parts of the property is that it backs right up to the river and has a dock, canoe, and fishing poles available, which was such a fun bonus. The view and setting are really beautiful and peaceful.As a travel agent myself, I’ll absolutely be recommending this property to my future clients. It was a great experience and the perfect place for us to make special memories on our first family trip!"
