「Danby House is a very inviting bed and breakfast. 「I don’t mean to be too harsh or rude but while I was there the only thing I could confidently say is that it was extremely close to a breakfast spot. When I checked in I was happy with the staff and the owner/manager. He was very nice and friendly but when I went into my room it appeared clean. There were stains on the pillows and the toilet didn’t work. I noticed a couple stains on the towels and the bathtub had a stain from the old mat that used to be there. 「Staffs are nice, but the bed sheets and pillow cases have weird stains on them but still good. The street roads were being fixed when I visited so it was dusty if you book a ground floor. Though I loved the idea of the sliding door on the ground floor room I booked because my car is literally in front of my room. This was convenient when getting your stuff in room and during check out. Overall it’s a nice stay」

「The cleanliness of the room could have used improvement. Noticed dust and hair in bathroom corners and the bedspread had questionable stains on it. The tub was missing the plug and the gap in the entry door had a noticeable gap. Was ok for us in June but might be an issue in January. I did appreciate being able to park the car directly by the door which made transporting bags to the room very convenient. 「Travelodge is always my first choice when staying in Owen Sound. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, and they have ample parking which is included in the price. I love that they are pet friendly (always call ahead if booked through Expedia as that detail doesn't always get relayed and they have specific and limited pet friendly rooms). When traveling without my pup, the king bed and soaker tub offer a touch of luxury.」
