"Eco Torarica was the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and convenience. The lush green surroundings created a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax, while still being close to the heart of Paramaribo. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We especially enjoyed having access to amenities at the other nearby Torarica hotels. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always ready with a smile or assistance. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we especially appreciated the eco-conscious touches throughout the property. We would definitely recommend Eco Torarica to anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing stay in Paramaribo. Would love to return!"

"This is a beautiful little spot about a 20-minute walk from downtown Paramaribo. I also stayed downtown, and can surely say I much prefer being away from the noise and crowds of the city center. Villa Famiri is in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. You can also walk to downtown though it's not a nice walk (no sidewalks, lots of trash and standing water, lots of traffic). They have a lovely common area and pool so it's great for relaxing. The real gem of this place though is the staff! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, especially Lucy, Kenzo, and Delia! They really treat every guest like royalty. One day our hot water went out (fairly common in Suriname, I think) and they let me shower in one of the rooms in the adjacent building. They also helped with ordering taxis and getting me things like a hairdryer and hot water kettle. I really can't thank the staff enough! "
