"Nice hotel, great staff, good service, great location and delicious food! We really loved it all. But…renovations/repairs are urgently needed. Large damp spots in the room due to problems in the bathroom. The toilet leaks water every time you flush. Same when using the sink. The sockets also need to be reviewed. There could be a few more and maybe a USB port too."

"A mixed review. The room was fine, air-con worked well, nice bed and was clean. The bathroom was very dated, shower head didn't sit in cradle so water went everywhere. The restaurant is halal so doesn't serve alcohol with meal. They let people smoke in outside area even though there was a no smoking sign. Also people smoked in the indoor bar area - not nice. It's a bit expensive for a medium rated hotel. We arranged airport transfer to pick us up but driver left because our flight was 30 minutes...

"The hotel reception and bar staff are excellent. However the restaurant is appalling. The quality of the food is poor. There is very little vegetarian options, except for boiled veg. If you arrive at breakfast past 7:30am, there is hardly any food left and the staff do not replenish the plates. Even the coffee pot is not refilled! The staff try their best and are very helpful, but unfortunately it is not worth the money. There are better and cheaper places to stay in Maputo"

The location is good in Polana with a nice neighbourhood and plenty of restaurants and shopping around. The distance to the Independence Square is a bit over 2 km. The Museum of National History was about 700 m away. The street next to the museum had the terminus of several bus lines (the name shown on the buses was simply Museu). The room was nice and quiet and it had a good...

"Very quiet, clean comfortable room with good air conditioning, good shower and comfy bed. Fridge and kettle provided, Wi-Fi worked very well. Central location if you need to be and only a 15 minute taxi ride from airport. No surprises or disappointments, breakfast was a bit basic but I don’t eat a huge breakfast anyway. "
