"This house was so well stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. We will be back."

"Surfrider is a lovely, comfy home. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, great outdoor spaces and fenced in area for a pet. A heads up to seniors renting the home: low toilets and slippery tub shower (no handles). There is a stall shower in laundry room. The cleaning woman and maintenance man were very helpful and went out of their way to help. The sand dunes and beach grass are in the way of the view which can’t be helped so there is no view of the ocean. "

"This was a wonderful stay for our group of nine. When we were leaving, I had difficulty with the lockbox (my fault) and called Patrick for help. Within minutes he returned my call and walked me through the process. Perfect!We watched spectacular sunsets and talked books and life in a comfortable setting. We all agreed we'd stay here again."

"We had a great time at Gary's house over New Year's. The proximity to the beach was what drew us to the property--only a block from the ocean in our favorite quiet neighborhood of Manzanita, just down the street from Nehalem State Park. We enjoyed the dog-friendliness of the house, and the living room with smart TV and comfy couch were great. We also enjoyed having a pool table in the great room, and we spent many hours upstairs playing games. We hope to come back sometime soon."

"This is the third consecutive year that we've looked forward to kicking off the holiday season in this incredibly charming house. The owners do an amazing job of decorating: a wonderful tree with lights and ornaments, garlands on the mantel, and other thoughtful touches. Add in a roaring fireplace, the (inevitable) rainy evening, and a good book... it's just as "blissful" as the name of the home would suggest. All of my previous comments still apply of course: a well-appointed kitchen, exceedingly comfortable beds, a full washer and dryer, etc.Our dog Moose gives it two paws up as well with bowls for water and food provided, and a reasonably short walk to the beach.We'll be booking again for this time next year!"
