"The property was clean, welcoming, comfortable, and convenient for our 5-night stay. We walked from the house to downtown Manzanita (1 block away) for coffee/hot chocolate every morning, for lunch and dinner each day, and for shopping throughout our stay. The fabulous Manzanita beach is 1.5 blocks from the house. The neighborhood was quiet, and we used the front porch and picnic table many times during our stay. The property was perfect for the two of us as we celebrated our 47th anniversary."

"The housekeeping was poor. A coffee cup had been put away dirty, the soap container in the shower was empty and housekeeping, I was told, was supposed to come every other day but no one did. What was troublesome was that the floor is a vinyl with a wood pattern and the build up of sand over 3 days from coming in from the beach was bad. It got everywhere. It reminded me of how a tent gets when beach camping. The floors won’t last long with all that grit scrubbing over them. Also sand can become slippery and when it rains it will be a muddy mess. It’s also uncomfortable to walk on and it gets tracked from your feet into the bed. Sandy sheets aren’t fun. Industrial low nap carpet as in other beach motels I stay at would look better, make the room feel warmer and less sterile, and with vacuuming deal with the sand better. Otherwise the room was clean but sparse. It seemed like it was put up in a hurry and had furniture from IKEA. The microwave door stuck and was already showing signs of wear. That being said, the grounds were nice, the fire pit great, the chairs outside the room nice, and the beach access superb. The ocean view wonderful as the motel is just across the road from the beach. It all happens there."

"Clean, comfortable and cozy. Meet our needs for a last minute trip to the coast with our dog. Cute bin of dog towels, bowls and even a toy were provided! The couch was so cozy the kids didn’t even use the pull out! Internet was fast and the TV in the bedroom was bigger than expected. The bathroom is small and dated, but you can see that in the photos so it was expected. Location is quite. We would gladly stay here again if it’s available!"
