We were not able to stay at this hotel because our vacation was cut short by an erupting volcano. We had failed to cancel and did not check in. The hotel's policy was no refunds on cancellation. But because we didn't check in, they categorized our reservation as a "no show" and only charged us for one night instead of 6. I appreciated that.
I had the most unpleasant & terrible experience at Sulo Hotel. I regret that I stayed here & chose this instead of checking in at one of the hotels around resorts world as I originally planned. I have been living abroad for 30 years now and opted to stay around the area where I grew up in & went to school. I stayed there from Jan 8 to Jan 12 & after already checking out, literally hopping in to our car when I was stopped because they said a towel was missing from one of the rooms I have stayed in. I don’t really want to think about this again but it was the most horrible experience I’ve had! The front desk asked me to pay 900pesos!!! First of all, I did not take any of your towels, they looked old and not clean & what would I do with those - I left a lot of stuff to my family because of my excess baggages! I have tipped workers around and to be treated like this was bad! Why was I asked after checking out when you said the towel was lost a day or so before I checked out. Obviously, it was a mistake on your part! It was a very disappointing stay. I deeply regret staying & checking in for 4 days in my rare vacation to the Philippines. Owner, Manager, please brief your staff, from concierge to front desk to housekeeping- I thought & spoke highly of your place and it was ruined just because of a towel! Come on now, I give hundreds of towels away when I go on vacation to our homeland. You guys ruined my stay, my family’s stay. What a horrible, horrible unimaginable experience!
No bacon, I asked why they said because swine flu. But I checked into Seda next day and they had lots of bacon.
Strange. Hotel was kept up well staff nice, menu didn’t have available most the choices. Every thing I tried to order they were out. But the servers were great.
This property is were we actually held our wedding prep so we are so enthusiastic to come back now with our kids. the place is quite old but i like the ambiance and the clean pool. choices on foods are good too.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This facility has been around since the 60’s and was very popular back then. It’s a full service hotel and the staff are just fabulous and friendly.
It could use some refresher in the rooms and bathrooms which are all dated. Other than that I would stay in this hotel over and over again. It’s my home away from home.
Not so good, not a relaxing place coz too much noise on the events, the ambiance needs to be improved, the towel needs to be replaced it looks dirty, for me it's not recommendable...
We stayed here 9 years ago and we loved it then so we decided to stay here again 9 years later.
We loved our stay. Our room was great. Service and staff are impeccable. And the breakfast buffet was amazing! One thing is that compared from our last stay, you can tell that it’s been 9 years. Some upgrades, new coat of paint etc could really make this place more amazing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
All Staff's are very friendly and locality is very nice with ample restaurants around the hotel.
Its not uncommon to find tiny cockroaches in buffet area, i found one in my food and stop eating from there after. Wifi signal is very week and most of the time wont connect. Few complaints made and no action taken. If you are on business trip, think before you book room in this hotel. I won't book this hotel on my next trip.
I got bitten by bed bugs in the cafe several times. All the chairs seem to be full of bed bugs. My arms were full of bites!! They need to thrown all those chairs and burn. I’m glad the beds don’t have them but it can circulate thru people. This hotel cleanliness needs to be addressed.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The food was delicious on the lunch buffet and the staff is very accommodating because we decided to celebrate my mother’s 81st birthday on this hotel. The only thing I’m not happy about is their shower stall. Very slippery and hard to turn the knob for the hot and cold water. There’s always room for improvement but the rest of my stay was good service.
The hotel is already aged but well kept. Seems like the washrooms need reno. Staff in the front desk and entrance were all friendly and courteous. My only complaint are the towels. For a hotel like that, I was expecting more presentable towels. The bath towels which were supposed to be of white colour, were gray or off white now. I suggest some bleaching to be done. There’s a pool, looks nice but didnt go for a deep, maybe next time. There are a lot, as in a lot of restaurants and convenience stores like 7-eleven or mini stop in the area. Some of the restaurants are open 24hrs. However nothing else to see around if u are after sight seeing. Mostly hospitals in that area. And actually the reason why we stayed here was bcoz we hv a family member confined in one of the hospitals nearby, very convenient. Overall the stay was great. Lastly, may I also suggest to include some face towels in the bathroom amenities ansd maybe a hair dryer.
I had a reservation for 9 days but at check in they had me there for only one night. The Front Desk resolved this problem quickly though and I was able to stay 9 days. No microwave in room. TV a bit small. Coffee pot's cord was only 6 inches long and would not reach the counter from the socket. I had to hold it while it boiled the water. Everyone was courteous and polite and helpful. No bulk food items from outside allowed. Why not? What if I don't want to eat at the overpriced restaurant on the premises? Swimming pool was nice. Very conveniently located near lots of restaurants and hospital (which was the reason for my stay, only a five minute walk to hospital).
Very disappointed to see a good hotel service decline the last 2 years. Breakfast in the morning has changed to a lesser quality of food & bad service by the waiters The rooms need major remodeling the towels in the bathroom are old & dirty 1 per person No wash towels given I will staying somewhere else when visiting the Philippines
Sleep safe and sound. 24/7 Security in and out of the facility.

Accessibilité de l'établissement et personnel à l'ecoute. Par contre, les chambres coté rue peuvent etre bruyant des très tot le matin dû aux transports. Cela empêche le sommeil.
I stayed here when I visited the Philippines for 5 days, breakfast was good, room was so-so, I asked to change my room because of some black mold in the bathroom, the front desk was a little extra and wanted to charge me 5,000 pesos additional for hiring a private makeup artist to go to our room to prep us for an event. they were respectful but it just felt a little awkward with them because they have issues when you have visitors. Will definitely not book here ever. I preferred my stay at Hotel Jen in their executive suite. It was way worth it. I almost upgraded my room just to get a better bathroom but the pricing was just ridiculous. Thank you though to hotels.com for giving me a better pricing (exclusive pricing for members) because I wouldn't want to spend more with them after the weird treatment I received from them.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious. However, bathroom amenities need to improve (hard towels, no hairblower, no face towel, etc.). Also cleanliness need to improve. There were little cockroaches in the room during our last night.
