Excellent for lodging at an affordable price. Clean, no humidity, super comfortable bed. Staff cares about clients. I'm happy that they also care about environnement so just adjust the heater at your arrival and your departure. High quality internet.

Great value
The stay at Weathervane was great. Speedy service at the office and the room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, I would say that this motel is somewhat out-of-date, but considering the price, cleanliness, and comfort, it is a great value!

Decent for the money
Spacious room. Clean. Quiet. Fairly comfortable. Room was cold as ice when I arrived and I cranked the heater to 80 degrees and ran the blow dryer to warm up the room. Took much of the night to do it.

The property was very accommodating to my late arrival. Area is quiet and the location is about 25 minutes from Stratton. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. My only issues are that the tv didn’t work and the tub wasn’t the cleanest.

Avoid this Run-down Motel
This motel is rundown. The operator is from overseas, and maybe doesn’t understand that Americans expect to see finished space, like corners meeting, floor trim, ceilings not cracked and hanging, holes drilled in walls and floors. The hot water didn’t work. This may be a half-way house for indigents part-time, it certainly should not be listed in Hotetl.com or made available to rent.

Smells like mildew as soon as entered. Sink drain barely drained. Looks like 1950's. There is a handful of bugs in the overhead bathroom light. Would never come back.

This is a charming, typically New England roadside motel for when you just want a a hot shower and a bed to crash. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the people were friendly. What more can you ask for after a long day on the mountain? Would happily stay again

Aside from the filthy condotions evident, the TV would not function at all. It was so bad that we booked another hotel for the night and dropped our key within 2hrs of check-in.

The drug use in the parking lot was certainly unique. Guess that's why there were two state troopers there in the morning. They didn't have the room we booked anyway, so we couldn't stay there.

I have stayed here several times. When arriving at night need to ring the door bell a few times to get the keys!! It is Vermont! Owner is very nice. Close to Manchester. Will definitely be back.

The place was old and rundown, it will take a great deal of renovation and capital to bring it up to todays standards. Bath: no heat, old rusty electric baseboard partially removed leaving 1 inch holes where pipe goes in at both ends. Ceiling light/fan hanging down by wiring. Main room: deadbolt on door not working. The shades on the 2 lamps in the room were cut up to remove the bottom wire and most of the plastic lining and left hanging limp. Drapes on large windows had gaps hanging down where the hooks were missing. Windows old and cracked. The walls had many patches where nails were removed from hanging pictures. Outside: walking paths were patched, uneven flat stones, very hazardous.

Older and not updated conditions. Great location, and quiet area!! The room and bathroom did not meet my expectations in terms od cleaningness. Unfortunately there were spiders in my room. The staff were nice.

Beautiful grounds but the room was a mess, outdated and messy. Dead bugs on the walls, stains in the shower, and shower rod coming out of the wall. The toilet was missing a screw from the seat too.

We knew the motel was older but economical for a one night stay. Once we checked in , about 7pm, the owners closed up shop. The water went out around 10 pm and did not come on before we left. The owners were not available, even by phone. We had no way to clean up, etc. On a slightly brighter note, rooms were clean and somewhat comfortable even though the furniture was older.

Horrible stay
Nasty tub, could not take shower, smelly, carpet was nasty. Desk personnel never asked for ID, acted like was upset I’d disturbed his supper. WiFi advertised but could not access.

No one in the office when I arrived at 4pm. Literally no doorknobs on the outside or inside of the office door! Holes in the floor in the room; curtains/shower curtain were filthy.
