"Brilliant location, just across the road from the beach. Room had everything you needed and was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer."

"A "resort" without the corresponding facilities seems was an odd experience. There was a time when the word Resort meant you were stepping into a beautiful place built on a large area with beautiful gardens, pools, spa, gym, massage and beauty therapies, restaurants and bars. This is not the case at Lowanna "resort". The studio room is small and pokey. Certainly not worth the rate per night. The windows open, which would be great however there are no screens to stop insects, mosquitoes entering the room. To have parking you must "upgrade" something else that a "resort" would not have as its policy.If you do not upgrade you park on the street. The rooms are not serviced daily nor are you offered fresh towels. This is not mentioned in the property description or at check in. There is a shopping centre behind the "resort""

"We have stayed here previously but not for years. Love the location and the staff are great. Our 2 bedroom unit was clean and the layout was good but was definitely looking tired and the furniture dated."

"I was super surprised at checkout when the 2 drinks (1 beer and 1 standard spirit) consumed the evening prior cost $39 !! Pro tip: ask the price first, then find another bar."

"Great location. Good place for people with younger kids as they have the waterpark and other things. The playground was closed for the whole time we were there. Rooms are a good size. The restaurant was OK if you don’t fancy goong far. Really enjoyed our stay."

"The room was not particularly clean - average. The pool was supposed to be heated but was quite cool - unable to stay in for very long. The lifts were very good - quiet and efficient. The parking spaces are very tight and we had to use the overflow parking if we went out during the day in the car. Unable to control the fan speed on the air conditioning unit - so either too cold or too hot."
