"Beautiful hotel, lovely room, and gorgeous setting right above the beach. The menu choices were limited, but both my dinners were delicious, as was my breakfast omelette. No hot water for the showers, but as it was so hot, that wasn’t a big deal. Special shoutout to Yolanda…she was wonderfully accommodating in everything I needed. Will stay here again."

"I spent a week at Surfasana Lodge. It is a unique property on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Surfasana Lodge is very peaceful surrounded by nature. Mauricio is a chill guy that can answer all your questions about Santa Catalina in general or surfing in particular. He is very interesting to talk with. I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Surfasana. "Had a wonderful four-day stay here. The location is hard to beat if you’re here to surf and they have rental boards easy to grab. The staff are excellent and helped us figure out the area, book a fishing trip and also cooked our catch when we returned. The food was excellent and it all seemed like a bargain. Of everywhere we walked past I’d likely stay here again for the combination of location, access to surf, amazing views and everything we needed for our visit."
