"This is a tropical paradise. Great beach better than any on Island ( we checked and compared) room on 2nd floor with balcony with awesome view. Room a little rustic ; but we go for beach; a/c kept room cool. Mama Ines granddaughter is manager shared history; oldest property in Santa Catalina used to be their family home. Two cats kept us company. Next. Door to Surf camp; great frozen cocktails; Enjoy!!oh; ;dont arrive in island at dusk. Dogs roaming everywhere you will drive into one(wanted to bring one home) don’t believe weather forecast; it had clouds every day: we had loads of sun."

Mauricio is a chill guy that can answer all your questions about Santa Catalina in general or surfing in particular. He is very interesting to talk with. I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Surfasana.
