「Great stay for a family vacation. Great amenities for kids and safe for kids to play around the resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very neat and clean. Pools are great. Heated pools will be even better. Maybe an idea for colder weather. 」

「This was out 3rd stay at Westlodge: 2014, 2019 and 2024. We keep coming back due to its quality. It's obviously under new management since our last visit. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Breakfast was lovely and of good quality. If I could give 4.5 I would. I just feel the standard has slipped since our last visit. There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. 「If you are looking for a unique place close to Kruger then look no further! What makes Highgrove House truly magical is probably a well kept recipe. If I had to describe it, I’d say that you’d need to mix the hospitality and welcome of staying with family with a well polished high end establishment. 「The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning.」
