Restored 1840's Downtown Loft Near Blue Ridge Parkway

Experience a taste of 19th Century urban life with all the conveniences of today. On the second floor of the Centertown Bedford building known as Lawyers Row, The loft offers an ingenious and tasteful 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment with complete kitchen. It includes one large bedroom with queen sized antique rope bed and one sleeping loft with trundle bed (2 twin-sized beds) accessed by a beautiful handmade heart-pine staircase/ladder. Decor offers plaster and exposed brick accents, authentic milk paint wall coatings, and original heart-pine floors. Together with a comfortable sofa, the Loft can accommodate up to three business travelers or a family of five. The kitchen is fully equipped, and includes soapstone countertops and an inviting simulated-coal fireplace. A washer and dryer are on site, and all towels and linens are furnished. We're pet and kid friendly but please, no smoking.

Loved this place. Manager/owner very responsive. Great to have two bathrooms and nice kitchen. Relaxing atmosphere. Would not be suitable for elderly or someone with disabilities due to steps from front door to 1st bedroom or steps to loft bedroom.

Very nice place, we enjoyed it! I was a little worried because I could not find the thermometer, but AC was running good so I didn’t need to adjust anything. We had a great time, though, and it is a great place to stay!

Perfect Stay in a quiet downtown

This was a great place for our family to stay for the weekend! Close and convenient to a downtown that has all the essentials you need, and within easy walking distance of a grocery store. The apartment is decorated well and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay! We would love to stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

This is a very nice apartment, I love the "old style" furnishing that makes you feel connected to Bedford's past, and I would highly recommend this apartment as well as the location downtown, to anyone who is visiting Bedford

Bedford Blast

What a great respite stay on our way back from Florida. The scenery is beautiful; the lodgings were cozy and unique. This was great fun. The Crab house was outstanding and Amanda the bartender knew how to make a wonderful oyster shooter. Not sure we will ever be that way again, but if we were we would definitely stay again.

Quick get away

Place was nice and convenient for walking and traveling around surrounding areas. Place was clean but could use some attention to details. But still would recommend for anyones visit to Bedford, Va. Very charming.
