The house is a rustic cabin and that would be fine -- not going to get a hotel setting, which is what we wanted.
Unfortunately the outdoor furniture had not been cleaned in a long time. The point in going here was to be outside and not to have to pre-clean all of it before we used it!
Inside was not any better. There are great sliding glass ceiling to floor windows that overlook the river but the last time they were cleaned may have been last year. Putting that aside, you could not open the sliding glass windows as there were no screens and "the house cat", would have gotten in, if opened - - strict orders, in writing, not to let that happen!! The screen door, on the only door into the cabin, is dilapidated and needs repair/replacement.
The interior of the house is dirty (we have pictures) window sills with dead flies, dirt, A/C unit has black mold on face, the "house mouse" should be somewhat expected in a wooded setting, but no rodent controls were visible. Kitchen came with only one large bowl and no soup bowls at all. The utensils that the 3 pages of directions (orders - - all directions can be much more visitor friendly and still get the same point across) state that they must be cleaned and put away, They were dirty in the draw and obviously just put away prior to our arrival. No hooks in bathroom for towels and very limited hanging space thru out the cabin (one 3 hook wooden bar with 2 smaller hooks below,), the shower has no light so you are dependent on whatever can filter your way, but don't let that bother you as the shower has minimal water pressure and isn't much more than a trickle.
Layout of the living room has 3 sofas all facing out to river but theTV in on a table behind furniture. Wifi did not connect and said that the system was not available.
Beyond this it had a great view of the river and mountains and we enjoyed seeing a storm come over the mountain one eveining. I would say "pass" on this one..
