"The breakfast buffet was always gull and fresh, very clean amenities, not alot of parking spaces struggled the second night to get a space. Many cars where parking in a none space."

"Clean property, amazingly friendly staff (especially Matilda). Loved the ambience, the quality of the food and wines. Only very minor quibble was we were in the eaves which did not give us a lot of headroom when getting into bed. Loved this place and would highly recommend it and would like to return in the future. "Part of the divan (bed) was broken. So seemed like sleeping at an angle with head below your feet. Solved by turning bed around but didn’t solve the problem of it being broken! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Didn’t eat dinner in hotel so can’t comment. Excellent location right opposite cathedral but be aware the cathedral bells toll every 15 minutes between 7am & 11pm!"

"We rented all three cottages for the family to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday. Marie and her husband were very welcoming. The pool, hot tub and garden were great, so good that the grand and great-grandchildren just wanted to stay at the cottages. We made good use of the BBQ and the ourdoor eating space, and the large living room was just big enough for all of us to play games in when it got a bit chilly. Lovely views over the fields where we saw several muntjac deer."
