"Lovely buffet breakfast with healthy, fresh foods. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely, clean room with big bed and plenty of storage space. Ideal location within easy walking distance of good restaurants, shops, castle, etc. Pool looked lovely but didn't get chance to try it out as we were on a rock climbing holiday. Within easy driving distance of Rocha da Pena where we were climbing. Secure, underground carpark. Excellent hotel."

"We needed 3 days in a hotel b4 we could get into our apartment and booked this to put us over. I advised i wouldnt b there until after midnight due to late flight and asked for late arrival info. This was very poor and confused as i could only get them to communicate by texts. Details of a safe outside the hotel entrance were given and i was told my keycard along with others would be in there. I asked how i would know which room/key was mine but got no reply. When i arrived there was a notice with emergency contact info but when i rang it nobody answered. I opened the safe and there were 3 keycards. I took all 3 and had to guess which room was mine. Not very good. The property and linen were clean and the staff were very polite and helpful but the rooms were very poor with old scuffed furniture and the loo seat was falling off. The pool area was quiet with nice sunbeds and shades. Carpark fine. I had a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was very poor with old and worn equipnent that i didnt use. Very poorly appointed. Breakfast was extra at €12 but looked poor. I went to the local Apalonia supermarket and had a fab breakfast for less. Great restaurant next door called Floresta. Overall, this hotel is scruffy and overpriced. It was booked as an emergency but i wouldnt go back.."

"We had a brilliant two weeks at Villa Luzia, the booking was simple and stress free and no issues while we were there. The pool was great for the kids and adults and location of the villa is great for proximity to Loule, Ria Formosa and golf, all within 30 minutes drive.I would recommend this property to a large family or friends looking for a stay in the Algarve."

" Our 3-night stay was overall a good one, with great views. However, we did run into an issue with the air conditioning not working in one of the bedrooms from the moment we arrived. This made the room too hot to use. Luckily, there was another room with a working air conditioner where we were all able to sleep. The owner was responsive and tried to address the issue.The kitchen, while a bit dated, was well-equipped, and the room sizes were decent. One suggestion for the property would be to add a proper barbecue, as that would be a great addition for a house of this size."

"We were a family party with children, the house was perfect, very well equiped and Catrina was very quick to respond to our requests. The house is well situated for lots of local activities at the same time set away from the bustle of a town. Very happy holiday!"
