「We really enjoyed the host making our “check in” truly unique by sharing a lot of the history and character of your landmark home. We decided to skip the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed breakfast with “the locals” at “the Diner” recommended by our host. We really appreciated our host’s recommendations for a variety of quality “local” amenities. My wife raved about our “feather bed”again and again on our trip back home:-)」

「Mike is a great, easy-going guy. He gave us early access to the building & room. Convenient digital touchpad entry. He retained all the original woodwork, doors & windows that give the building a wonderful historic vibe. There is no better place to be centrally located for all of the downtown restaurants, shops, & historical sites. 」

「My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks...

「I didn't get to stay at the property. The owner never gave me access. Never communicated at all via VRBO, email, text, or phone. I called the owner and owner was not receiving voicemail. I called VRBO. I have a case number to try to get a refund. I had to stay at a hotel. I never received the access code or communication. Very disappointed. Waiting a refund. Hoping I am not ripped off.」

「Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! 」
