When I checked in, I was not told there would be an additional charge on my card for an authorization fee for the stay. I swiped my debit card thinking it was a certain amount, when the front desk receptionist charged me an additional $450 on top of my bill. There was zero communication about this charge prior or when I was standing in front of her checking in. That didn’t come off my account until a week after my stay. She also put a $450 hold on my credit card. Then a day later I woke up to an extra $150 random charge on my card. The manager said he had no clue where that came from. Makes me think they just charge random charges in hopes that no one catches it. We also booked a king size suite. The bed was def not a king. I sleep in a king every night at my home. It was more like a queen and when I called down to ask about it I was told there are no queens in the suites. Who knows? Maybe it’s a smaller king than normal, but def not a king size I’m use to sleeping in. There’s also only one elevator and it’s pretty difficult to catch parts of the day because of the crowd coming and going from the rooftop.
