The staff is welcoming and helpful. This location is very convenient to all West Hollywood has to offer. The hotel is unique with an enticing outdoor garden seating. I don’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for your next stay.

Short Stories is a gem. Fantastic location across the street from Farmer's Market and The Grove and within comfortable walking distance to museums in the Miracle Mile area. Good food and nice SoCal ambiance in the hotel bar/restaurant. Friendly staff and nice rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Short Stories hotel. The room was spacious, homey and clean. The housekeeping staff were incredible and provided a turn down service as well as the morning housekeeping. The staff is amazing. It is more of a retro boutique vibe so if you’re used to the more chain, vanilla type places, you may not love it. The location cannot be beat in my opinion, being right across the street from the Farmers Market with tons of dining options around. A Trader Joes and CVS 5m walk. Tons of shopping at The Grove also next to the Farmer's Market. Also found the location quite central to the other places we went. I will come back.

Great stay, hotel was great. Everything at the hotel was well presented and very clean. The staff were friendly and treated us well. The hotel was well positioned for many activities LA has to offer. It’s all fine, but not special. Rooms are cramped and the toilet/shower is part of the room with a sliding door (no lock and large gaps), so don’t expect privacy. It’s a great location though
