8.2/10 Very Good! (5,161 reviews)
Good value if you like ocean view and needs to come to Berkeley! Not exactly doubletree standard (a little run down to be honest) but room and clean and amenity is acceptable.

7.8/10 Good! (354 reviews)
Driving to the property the area surrounding it is extremely trashy and run down. The staff were all helpful answering questions and smooth process checking in. At first glance the room looks very clean but I found hair under my blankets, the shower was dirty, and there was some pills in the AC. There isn't much space to put your stuff down and no chair in the room to do your makeup. When we checked out that was also an easy process and we stood outside waiting for the Uber and a mouse ran across the parking lot from the hotel.

9/10 Wonderful! (7,699 reviews)
"Poor service on check in, check out and enquiries. I stood in the queue to check out while 3 other customers were served. Check in experience was similar. Two staff then stood, chatted and ignored me. The air con in the room is noisy but is cold, which was appreciated. Well located and comfortable ..."
