This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel. The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags. The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well. Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to drink out of the sink in the room or go to the bar and get it from the tap there. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to friends or family…no, not billed as a luxury hotel.

The hotel is great and super well located- perfect stay in the beach and easy public transit to the main Sydney attractions. Room is spacious and beautiful, staff was lovely (Elevator is under repair this week but they took our heavy luggage up for us). The hotel bar had live music and the restaurant on the 2nd floor was very good. Highly recommend this hotel!

Class all the way and Phillip at reception was brilliant. The advice he gave regarding local restaurants was well received and accurate. The only disappointment was we had only one night there! We will be back!

"Walking distance to Parramatta Stadium was our key criteria. Very good hotel. The gym was reasonably good and pool was ok. It's was a Saturday and we parked in the car park across the road and paid $15.instead of the hotels $40."
