"The house was clean and spacious with nice furniture. The deck had a wooded view with plenty of seating. The primary bedroom was nicely appointed as was the bath. We were able to park in the garage which was a plus for us. The host was very attentive and responded quickly whenever we reached out to him. Great place to stay! "

"We so enjoyed the property location right on the lake! It was so peaceful sitting on the screened in porch with a beautiful breeze in the morning and a lovely evening watching a lightening storm and rain while feeling protected and dry on the screened porch. We only spent time indoors to sleep! Lots of birds to watch and the lake was very quiet. An easy 20 minute drive to Crystal Bridges was a bonus! Many thanks for a quiet and peaceful getaway weekend!"

"Host was very good with communication and check in was super easy. House is in need of updating and repairs. During our stay the home was not cleaned properly between renters. The carpet has many stains so we never took our shoes off and the decks may not be structurally safe to sit on. Overall I would not recommend staying here."

"Beautiful, quiet escape to celebrate a birthday. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, spices, coffee, tea, etc. Home was well decorated with many extras like blankets, laundry, bike storage. Hosts provided great instructions and info about the area."

"This property needs a welcome packet with info how to run the appliances, showers , tv etc. info on amenities available. We paid but didn’t use anything because it didn’t seem doable. restaurant menus, who delivers, where are the pool or wherever the amenities were. Antique stores etc. they have brochures that you could include. They were very responsive but I spent to much time asking questions, texting and emailing when I wanted to be on vacation."
