Me: I have wide experience of one and two-month flat rentals in London, where I come to work fairly regularly.
**All appliances are new and of high quality with the exception of fridge, which is functional but badly in need of freezer de-frosting.
**Location is handy to two Tube stations. 5-10 minute walk to food stores.
**Quiet street but expect to hear scraping and footfall noise from floor above the flat.
**Shower functions well with good pressure, but there is nowhere to store shower items.
**Beds are in good condition and are fine for one person but would be small for a couple (they are the size of old-style double beds in USA, smaller than queen).
**Large living room. Good couch.
**Excellent storage areas in both bedrooms.
**Steps down to basement flat could be tricky for the elderly or infirm, as they are narrow and of uneven, irregular height. They would not pass code in the US.
**Management team was slow to respond to my repeated clear statements that the entryway's electronic lock keypad did not function properly. After three weeks and a complete malfunction, they finally had it replaced.
**Property description and photos on VRBO are generally accurate and give a good sense of the flat, but it does not have a dedicated workspace as described at the time I rented. There is no desk or office set-up.
**Excellent wi-fi service. Fast, reliable and available throughout the flat.
