shocking property, we could not even sleep there
the place was advertised as "luxurious" but was similar to a homeless hostel.
every bedroom door with security locks,
bathroom with broken shower and hot water running, taps broken so unable to close the hot water, constantly causing steam throughout the "flat"
whole place smelling strongly of toxic bleach
shabby furniture
sofa bed damp and full of crumbs under cushions, definitely not somewhere one could sleep
four rickety chairs around a table crammed in beside the worn out sofa bed
washing machine and dryer had loads inside them
every bed had damp, almost wet sheets and duvet covers
towels were dripping wet hanging on wardrobe rails
one room was a full glass shop doorway with no curtains or blinds to shieldd from street lighting
another bedroom had no curtains or blinds to shield from street lighting
carpets in two rooms grubby. wou;d not want to put my bare feet on them
TOTALLY SHOCKING_ we had to find alternative hotel rooms
Completely ruined my retirement weekend. We had booked to stay together as a group of pensioners from Scotland, Portugal and Canada hoping to stay together for a wonderful reunion but were forced to find seperate hotels due to lack of availibility on a Friday evening. This ruined our plans totally. We intend to take this to County Court if necessary to redeem the money we paid as the property is totally unsuitable with its "wet beds" bleach and steam. Description on VRBO totally misrepresented.
