The cottage was outstanding in every way, well stocked with all the necessary items and some for a self catering stay. "Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)"

"Great location, emma is a great host, property was immaculate and has everything you need and more, we had a brilliant holiday will definitely be back."

"We enjoyed our stay in this area, there is so much to do! Walking along the beaches, making a boattrip, visiting the Gairloch museum (surprisingly beautiful). We could recommend the Achtercairn Archeology Trail, the description of this walk is available in the museum."

"Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....

"If you are going to Ullapool, stay at Harbour House. Period. It's an easy walk to town, the views are absolutely gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. We splurged and stayed in a loch view cabin and the minute we walked in thought, "We could stay here for a few more days." It's a bed and breakfast, so if you want it there are both full breakfast and continental style. Our friends stayed in the main building and couldn't rave more. "
