Acorn Ridge is a little log cabin in the woods. This is the perfect hideaway for a romantic retreat for 2 complete with a private hot tub on a covered deck for intimate moments together.

Please note a 19.99 dollars Preservation Fee is charged with every reservation as well as a 3% credit card processing fee
Welcome to Acorn Ridge. It's approximately 10 minutes from the caves and surrounded by all the local main attractions. This secluded small one-room unit comes fully equipped with cooking utensils, linens & towels provided. This is the perfect getaway for a romantic retreat for 2 complete with a private hot tub on a covered deck for intimate moments together or enjoy a nice cookout as a gas grill and propane is provided. End your day with some snuggles and nice cup of hot cocoa by the bonfire.

Loved our stay here! Check-in and checkout were effortless. Cabin and amenities were accurately described and clean. Staff were pleasant and we had such a wonderful, peaceful stay!

Unplug and enjoy nature!

Really enjoyed the cabin & the weekend at Hocking Hills - breathtaking scenery and great exercise. Everything was as stated in the VRBO listing. The only drawback was we got lost a few times trying to find caves/waterfalls - GPS doesn't work in Hocking Hills and the road signs are not the best. Also, we were told there would be a detailed map in the cabin but there was not.

Wonderful place to stay

Absolutely loved it. Only issue is the mattress has a big dip in the middle and needs replaced. Other than that we had a wonderful time. We plan on staying there again.

Private Cabin

Cabin was clean and provided amenities mentioned in the description. I would have liked to have been reminded that the cabin was well water & as is the case with well water: It often is full of minerals, such as sulfur, so I would like to have prepared better and brought more bottled water for cooking and coffee, etc.. Gas grill only fired with one burner at each end, had to grill in small amounts. T.V was very small(16inch) and with my 60 something eye site, hard to enjoy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom teeny tiny and no place to set needed items.

Read the fine print before you book this property. What is not provided is as follows: -Shampoo, conditioner or other basic hygiene products. *this is listed in the super fine print. -WiFi or Internet or cell phone service. There is none of it. You are offered a land line for emergencies. - A mattress suitable for sleeping. This mattress was one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. My wife and I had to sleep back to back support each to prevent rolling into each other during the night. I have had more back support in camping hammocks. - The games and movies listed in the description are exactly an incomplete deck of cards and one puzzle. Not one single movie was provided. You don’t have Internet or WiFi to stream anything so be sure to download what you want and bring an HDMI cable. Or just don’t stay here. The other overwhelming experience was the strong sewer smell every time you used any water Faucet. The shower sewer smell was so bad that you had to shower with the door open or it would make you nauseous. The positive of this property was the location close to all of the hiking attractions and the hot tub. The hot tub was clean and nice after a long day of hiking. We did not contact the property manager because the likelihood of them replacing the mattress during our stay was slim to none. Considering a mattress from Costco is less than half of what we paid for our stay, we expected better from this premiere host.
