"Rooms are basic but hotel is family friendly and lots to do with the kids on site. The pool being closed for several hours in the afternoon on sat and sun isn’t ideal though. Breakfast was great and bar food fair enough. It wasn’t clear that it was only bbq food in the woodshed on Fridays "

"We had a fantastic stay exploring the Cairngorms from this location. The house is perfectly positioned for accessing Aviemore and the Rothiemurchus estate, Loch Morlich, Loch Uaine and the funicular uo to the Ptarmigan top station, with further trips by car up to Loch Ness, Inverness, Balmoral and the wider Cairngorms park. The house itself is well equipped, with a hot tub and sauna that are well maintained. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. We brought our bikes which could be locked away securely and there are an abundance if options for outdoor pursuits. We will definitely look to come again!"

"The hotel was in a good location, a bit run down and dated. Hairdryer in the room didn’t work, the window sil was loose and the sofa bed was horrific! My 2 kids had terrible sleeps both nights. I wouldn’t say it was worth the £355 we paid for 2 nights. We’d expect much better quality for that price. "

"Situated on the main road through Aviemore so perfect for shops, pubs, cafes and the bus and train. Only fault i have, nothing the motel can do though, is it was a little noisy with the road traffic and the train line so bear in mind if your used to a little more rural settings. Place was immaculately clean, plenty parking and room was a great size. Had a fantastic few days and would recommend using the motel as a base for exploring the area. "

"The host has thought of everything for all seasons with games room , outdoor games and hot tub , the house is equipped to a high standard . The provision of a meal on first night is a nice touch . The games room provided great entertainment for our family. Hot tub was great to relax in after a long walk , property is a 15 / 20 minute walk to centre. Would definitely book this house again as we like the area"
