Ty Meryl - a dog that sleeps 7 guests in 3 bedrooms
The conversion has been sensitively and beautifully carried out and the incredible stone arches and huge beams remain as prominent features in what is now an elegant and luxurious holiday home.
Downstairs is one huge airy open-plan space that is open to the rafters above. To one side are the kitchen and dining area (table seating 8) which will please even the most demanding of cooks. There's an induction hob with a built-in extractor, two Neff ovens, plate warmers and combination ovens, a full-size fridge, a separate full-size freezer, a Nespresso machine and every culinary aid you could wish for!
To the other side of the space is the seating area with a huge U shaped sofa, an equally huge cinema TV and a central wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. Through the amazing stone archway, there is a conservatory area with seating to one side and a well-equipped utility area with WC to the other.
Climb the oak staircase up to a gantry type landing that leads to bedrooms on both sides of the building. The main bedroom with a super-king-size bed has private access to the family bathroom which has a bath and separate shower. To the other side of the landing, you'll find a king-size bedroom with an ensuite shower room and a third twin bedroom with an ensuite WC. This room has an additional full-size trundle bed which can be made up as a third single bed on request (there is a separate £30 charge for additional bedding and towels). Please note this room is quite tight when a third bed is used.
Outside there is a gravelled area with outdoor seating to the rear which is enclosed by wrought iron gates and crawia (slate pillars). To the front, there is a large flagged patio area with outdoor dining space, a separate seating area and an all-important Weber BBQ. There is parking for 3 cars to the front and one car to the rear.
