THE VIEWS AND LOCALITY
Yurnga has stunning views of the Blue Mountains (Darug land) and is situated on the sacred land of the Darug and Wiradjuri peoples.

THE HOUSE
It is an architecturally designed house and is perfect for a family or up to four couples that seek a quiet and relaxed getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life

Close to the best tourist attractions, cafes and restaurants in the Blue Mountains including Seclusions.

THE SPACE
Yurnga is an architecturally designed home that has been built from the ground up to capture the magnificent ambience and view of the Blue Mountains spanning Mount Victoria, Hassans Walls and the Megalong Valley.

Set on 5 acres with views from virtually every part of the house, including the decks and from any aspect outdoors. There is plenty of space outside to relax, play and experience mountain living in a modern and relaxed environment.

Comfort from the elements is provided year round through double glazed windows, a fire place and reverse cycle ducted air conditioning.

The layout includes modern kitchen, dining and family room as well as a seperate lounge room with polished floor boards and a log fire place located centrally to heat the entire house.

The master bedroom features a full size ensuite with spa.

A study nook overlooks the escarpment.

There is a large outdoor decking area that takes full advantage of the views and provides a comfortable space for small gatherings to take in the fresh air and experience the true beauty of the blue mountains.

Full laundry facilities including washing machine and dryer are provided to guests.

We provide fresh linen, bath towels and professional cleaning of all hard surfaces, bedrooms and bathrooms following each and every reservation. We do not skimp on cleaning and hygiene. We use professional cleaners that launder all hand linen, towels and bed linen after each reservation.

Each guest must to attend must register and agree to the terms and conditions of the accomodation and short term rental agreement. This can be accessed on the AirBnb booking conditions as shown on the Stayz Website or requested directly.

ATTRACTIONS AND THINGS TO DO
Yurnga is located near some of the best tourist attractions, cafes and restaurants that the Blue Mountains and Lithgow has to offer including Hassans Walls, Historic Little Hartley, Talisman Gallery, Lake Lyell, Glow Worm Tunnel, Mayfield Garden as well as Tarrana Pub. The magnificent Three Sisters, Wolgan Valley and Jenolan Caves are within a leisurely and scenic drive.

Seclusions Wedding venue is also located nearby (about a 10 minute drive).

GUEST ACCESS
Yurnga is wheel chair accessible throughout the house, bathrooms and laundry. Access by wheel chair to the viewing deck is made easy with double access doors front and back. Wheel chair access to the house is via a fully concreted flat driveway landing which is directly accessible from the street by car in all weather conditions.

We booked this place to attend my daughter’s Wedding at Seclusions. This place appealed to us because of the Fireplace & Spa Bath. Unfortunately, we were advised by the owner a couple of days before the check in. That the Spa Bath wasn’t working. ( Saw a past review dated close to a year ago about this. Still not fixed ) Also, told that. If, we wanted to use the Fireplace. That we would have to bring our own Firewood, thongs, Gloves etc. plus clean it. Even after paying a cleaning fee. We were also, told that the property wasn’t connected to Town Water. Therefore, we must bring our own Bottle water or boil the water before consuming. As drinking the water could make us sick. The Mattress in the main Bedroom was extremely Hard & we had to move rooms. Also, the main bedroom had no wardrobe space to hang clothes. As these wardrobes were locked for the owners use. Found the Bedding & Towels old. Was glad we brought our own towels & Pillows. We already had a lot of organising to do for this stay. But, then told to buy Firewood, Bottle water & advising our guest that we were unable to use the main features of this property. Was very disappointing. I honestly fell that this information should be put in the description of the add. So that folkes can be informed when making a decision to stay there. The view was nice & the Air Conditioner worked well. I did contact Sam the owner with my grievances but he didn’t respond.

This is a great property with 4 large bedrooms and ensuite. Two seperate living areas, seperate dining and deck areas make it ezy to unwind. Our group found it very functional and relaxing with OMG (great) views. Heaps of outdoor space, parking and access on the property is very easy. Samson is a great host, prompt response, always polite and wanting to do everything he can to make sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Would recommend.

Amazing! We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The check in and out process was an easy. The house was perfect for our two families! The kids loved the fire place and looking for wombats. We were lucky enough to be able to check in earlier and leave late. The little touches didn’t go unnoticed from the choccy bickies, bottled waters and leaving the heating on so we were so warm when we came in! Thank you Sam, we will be back

Nice place, clean tidy and great location. We were told after booking that the spa was not to be used as it needed repairs, the spa was one of the reasons this home was selected by us. The beds were clean and fresh however extremely uncomfortable resulting in my wife and son sleeping on the couch. We were able to request to check in early and were offered a late checkout which was nice. Close to walks and lookouts and shops etc not far away.

26 March – 1 April – Serenity Now! This slice of paradise is amazing! It is a beautiful home with gorgeous views from every room. The outside deck is marvelous and if you’re an early bird, you will have spectacular sunrises. If you’re a night owl, the stars and planets are amazing! We spent Easter here and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for our feast. Before renting, we noticed that the home did not have a bbq grill. The owners were so kind and purchased one before our arrival. How nice is that! Lithgow is a small town but has everything you need for your time in the Blue Mountains. Hassan’s Walls Lookout is just a few minutes from their CBD and is definitely worth a visit! Sam is a great, attentive host and will make sure you have everything you need and will share all the local sites to visit. If you’re looking for a place to recharge and gaze upon natural beauty, this is the place for you!

We had a group of eight adults and were attending a wedding in the area and the house was perfect. Plenty of room, warm and cozy the kitchen is equipped with every thing you need for a two day stay. Exceptionally clean and maintained with the perfect layout and furniture for a large group. Easy cab ride to all the surrounding venues and Lithgow.

Whilst we were attracted by the property through the online pictures and description, it was certainly better than expected in person. The property was clean, tidy, well positioned with great views, warm in winter and plenty of inclusions. Sam the host was an absolute pleasure do communicate with clear instructions, very accomodating and prompt help. We were a group of 8 that incl adults all 30+ and a couple of minors between 5-9. Would stay here again.

The house had wonderful sweeping views and waking to a gorgeous sunrise was the most amazing way to begin our weekend. We had been hoping for snow angels but instead got a beautiful blue sky and crisp winter air, which allowed us to explore the local area and get some great photos. The house was extremely well appointed and had everything you could possibly need for our stay. Communication with the Property Manager, Sam, was great, messages and directions were very clear and professional I would highly recommend a visit to Yurnga.

Property has a lovely location just out of the way enough to feel out of the hustle & bustle but still close to the great attractions of the area to make day trips possible. Beautifully presented house with a great view to look at all throughout the day if you’re looking at staying indoors also. Great amenities to make you feel at home. A few little basic items to add some finishing touches to a beautiful property, however were addressed with the owner who responded immediately & was extremely accommodating & super fast response to get these requests attended to immediately. We had to reschedule the trip a couple of times also & Sam was very understanding & helpful with that. Would definitely recommend this property & I would happily stay there again. Loved it. The house was clean and generally met our expectations. Just a few details I'd suggest: Provide a hook or hand towel holder in WC. In winter perhaps turn on central heating earlier in the day (i.e. before check-in) to warm up the house. Was very cold during our stay. Maybe provide a few extra blankets? There was plenty of extra pillows but only one extra blanket. This is just 'nit-picking' to make improvements. But otherwise our stay was pleasant. The house was generally well appointed and had great views.

Large open planned living with quality amenities. Serene semi-rural bush setting with sweeping views. Most enjoyable place to stay. Very accessible to the surrounding country and to Lithgow itself. Beautiful outlook, spacious (but noisy due to the wooden floor) inside with all the facilities we required. However, for the price, it fell short in a number of respects: no outdoor furniture despite a BBQ and deck; pillows thin and towels a bit on the small and thin side and some were stained; 8 adults in the party, but only one lamp and one bedside table in 3 of the 4 bedrooms; just one towel rail in the main bathroom for 6 towels and no rail for hand towels in either bathroom or the separate toilet; bathmats were old towels folded in half. Short on complimentary coffee and tea supplies; no soap, washers, or shampoo in either bathroom. Floor had not been cleaned under the lounge chairs for some time (accumulated dust, coat hangers, old lollies and a child's toy under one set), but the rest of the house clean. Water pump under-powered - took an hour to fill the spa. All these little things detracted from what could be an excellent property.

Thank you for a magical weekend getaway. We spent two nights here with the family, the location was great with a short drive to explore Katoomba and lithgow. There was nothing better than comming back and enjoying a glass of wine with the breathtaking views. The property was aboustely stunning and recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing peaceful break.
