Great location. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. We got a balcony room and the views were great. Rooms are quite small, not a lot of space to open your luggage. Needs more shelves in the bathroom to put your toiletries.

I can't say enough good things about Independence Bica! The location was super convenient and the staff were so helpful. In fact we changed our plans to stay here an extra day and are so glad we did! The breakfast was fantastic, even as someone who can't tolerate gluten or dairy, there were plenty of option for me, including a choice of hot, freshly prepared items such as scrambled eggs and bacon. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Well-located hotel with helpful staff. The room & bathroom are a bit tight, but very clean. I did not try the breakfast--I would prefer if it were offered earlier in the morning, to provide an option to complement the late openings of local breakfast spots.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Nestled in the perfect part of Lisbon. The breakfast is absolutely impeccable and it is so close to literally everything in the city. Also, the best coffee shop outside - Senzi. Could not recommend this place more. The staff are also lovely.
