"An excellent bed & breakfast; superbly located near the town's biggest attractions. The room was bright and modern with a great bed and super-plush towels. The breakfast in the morning was a particular highlight; well presented, in a beautiful breakfast room. Everyone I dealt with at the property was friendly and very helpful; they are truly focused on providing an excellent experience for all their guests."

"Nice, comfortable room alongside the pub, with direct access to the street. Easy check-in via the friendly bar staff and surprisingly quiet given the rooms are alongside the beer garden. Town centre, rail & bus stations and riverfront are all within walking distance, with regular buses to the castle & cathedral up the (very steep) hill. Would definitely stay again."

"A lovely comfortable bed in the room. It was nice and clean and the hotel was very quiet, despite other guests and diners there. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and the staff were so friendly and polite throughout our stay. Would highly recommend. A great place to stay and eat"

"The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked."
