Zero advance notice that someone else was in the apartment we had rented and we had been moved elsewhere! When we arrived, lock box was empty and open, no key. We went into building and knocked on the door of the apartment. A woman answered and sounded frightened (it was nearly midnight) and told us to go to an apartment on the ground floor. We were very confused and tried to call the owner. He answered and was completely unhelpful, told us to message with our booking reference. Some very helpful and kind people appeared from other apartments and (with translation from a young girl of about 14) told us the person before us had stayed on but we could have a different apartment. This was fine but the whole process was very stressful and unnecessary. We did get messages from the owner though the app - but why did he not tell us in advance?!!
