"Perfect place to enjoy Perigord beautiful landscapes, historic sites and dolce vita. Hosts are exceptionally nice."

"The host of this property is friendly, charming and very attentive. We enjoyed a delicious, table d'hôtel home cooked meal. The included breakfast was really good. It was generous, tasty and varied. The emphasis is on local, unprocessed food of excellent quality. The bathrooms appear to have been refurbished, there was plenty of hot water and soft luxurious towels. "Only problem was the quality of the Wifi."

"Very nice hotel and best positioned for town exploration!"

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"Beautiful location overlooking Sarlat valley. Peaceful property and exquisite restaurant. Very nice staff and well-maintained hotel. Very quick access to Sarlat town."

"Somewhat mixed feelings. We arrived and the budget room we had booked was tiny and had no draw space to put clothes and only a rail to hang things. We chose the hotel as it was out of the town but had a restaurant, unfortunately it was not open on the night we arrived (Friday night!) so we had to walk the busy road...
