"Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Only complaint is the the stairwell carpets were filthy and the laundry room dispenser was broken and there was nothing on it to tell you not to put money into it."

"I like the hotel good location for visiting our son at Iowa State. Staff was friendly but didn't like having to request housekeeping. It would be nice if the room included breakfast for two instead of one. The restaurant was was delicious and staff very helpful"

"On arrival we were met by a lively, bubbly young lady (Janelle?) who was trying to juggle a lot of other jobs whist checking us in, ie answering the phone, someone wanting a TV cable, etc. The room was clean and I was delighted that it had a tea/coffee maker that was placed on the desk area where I could reach easily instead of on a high TV cabinet as in other hotels. There were plenty of brochures and vending machines in the corridor. For the first time during our holiday, my daughter and I actually managed to find time for a swim in the pool - went in slowly which was a mistake, but once we got used to the temperature it was quite nice. The breakfast choices were sufficient for our needs with the usual scrambled eggs, sausages and biscuits. Toast, cereals, muffins, waffles and fruit as well as hot and cold drinks. We had no reason to use the laundry having done ours previously but the facilities looked okay. Plenty of parking spaces too."
