"We stayed for 11 days in this spacious apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lecce. Located just a few steps from the Duomo, it has everything you need. I would highly recommend it. We were surprised however about the 65 steps up to the front door. We are reasonably fit retirees but I think guests need to be warned about the staircase, especially with luggage. However we didn’t let this spoil our holiday."

"Antonello and Luciana went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Everything you could need for an extended stay is there. We did have a laugh about the fact that VRBO listed a spa/hot tub, which very obviously was not there. Hopefully Antonello can sort that out with the company. "The apartment is well laid out and is very comfortable. Parking is right outside the apartment door (with a pass from Giulio) Lecce is a baroque city and a great location for day trips around the Salento. We had a fabulous time. Giulio was terrific. We loved the apartment and we loved the location. Two blocks (5 minutes) from the old city so close enough to walk and explore the old city at any time but far enough away to be quiet and restful at night. We highly recommend the apartment."

"We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies. We had booked a room overlooking the ampitheatre, and since they had a problem with plumbing at that property, we were seamlessly diverted to another apartment in the historic center. Owners rep. met us at a parking lot outside the walls of Lecce to meet and escort us to the apartment. Excellent hospitality!"

"The property is not as advertised! We were booked for a 3 night stay and advised property manager that we were going to check out after 2 hours. The property is advertised as 2 bedroom, but its actually a 1 bedroom with a sitting area. Its not well stocked for a stay i.e. one wine glass. The kitchen is a fridge and a hot plate. The toilet handle is broken and U have to fiddle with it to make it flush. We asked for 1 night back and we were told no, only to see it advertised again the next day...

"My wife and I are retirees. We stayed in the Station House for a week in April 2023. This is a small, comfortable, well equipped apartment. It’s very close to the train station which we liked as we didn’t have a car but far enough away that the sounds of the station aren’t noticeable. The nearest dining is in the city center, a 10 to 15 minute walk. While there are very small stores 200 to 300 meters away the nearest supermercato was 1.3 km. "We stayed accross the patron saint festival in town, so there were road closures. We were met a little out of town and given an escort in by Franzi and then he parked our car for us.
