Lovely old house, very comfy with nice sized rooms, the home cooked food I had on my first night was excellent. Nice hosts who attend to what's needed but also leave you be so you feel you have privacy and solitude. Nice location for getting into Le Dorat.
The hotel and the hosts were lovely. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and very good. The children enjoyed meeting the owl. We had a really nice experience.
Friendly hosts, excellent food, house with character, terrace, a menagerie of animals. Tony, who used to be a falconer, even gave us a demonstration of his eagle owl!
Terrific is the word we would use to describe our stay. Nothing was too much trouble,Tony and Lisa have created a wonderful atmosphere a real home from home,We all slept in it was that comfortable The breakfast was excellent and our children loved meeting the animals.Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stay.
We spent a couple of nights (2 adults and 4 children) at L’Ancien Presbytère on our way through France. Our choice of accommodation could not have been better. Not only could we all stay in one room as a family, but our hosts could not have been more welcoming.
Tony and Lisa are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much for them. The children were made to feel so welcome and were immediately told to make themselves at home in the pool and the gardens.
The accommodation is beautiful. Tony and Lisa have clearly worked so hard to make their dream a reality - ask to see what they started with!
They are both so passionate about their business and to offer the personal touch to their guests stay. Lisa’s cooking is absolutely amazing (you will not eat as well for a very long time!) and Tony’s waiting skills are exceptional, especially if he is having to speak in multiple languages.
If you book to stay at L’Ancien Presbytère you will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to stay there again.
Thank you Tony and Lisa, you made a wonderful holiday even better.
The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room clean and comfortable and the evening meal was delicious. As a stop over, or place to stay for a couple of nights can't recommend it enough.
