This is just one of hundreds of medieval houses in Lavenham in Suffolk. The whole town is completely magical to see. Most of the houses here are quite visibly crooked and they lean at scary looking angles, but they are so pretty! If you're visiting make sure you have lunch or dinner at The Great House, pricey but worth every penny. #England #Architecture

"The front of the house was not welcoming with a lot of dirty cobwebs around the window and door.The front door opened into the main living room which is the selling point of the property, it does have a wow factor with ingle nook fireplace and oak beamed walls but the sofas are old and uncomfortable and the large rug is very faded and rucks up and becomes a tripping hazard.The kitchen and bathroom are very dated (80s) and needing a complete refurbishment. "Beautiful property, very nice renovation so there is a very modern kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen very well appointed with espresso machine and modern appliances. Nice touch to have a few coffee pods, tea bags, crisps and cookies in a welcome pack. Loved the walk in shower. "

"Seven of us age range 6-75 stayed at Gardners Cottage during New Year week. On arrival welcomed by the warmth of the property in the afternoon of the last day of the year. "We had a lovely peaceful relaxing stay at the Mallards, it was very clean and the bed is so comfortable, it has everything that you would want, we have been before and will be returning again. Superb host and the animals in the field were lovely to see, especially the donkeys. "

"As a first time user, pleasantly surprised with the quality and convenience of this Easy hotel. Will definitely use again when next visiting Ipswich. We chose a room with a window (frosted glass), so can't comment on how it would feel if windowless. Room compact and fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights). Good temperature control. Lots of breakfast options nearby, so the fact that this is not provided is not problematic. "

"I was working in the area and needed somewhere with a gym and pool. Found this gem and I wasn't disappointed. The gym was great for a hotel and the pool area was amazing. Everything here that was needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and food were superb and again the staff were great. Couldn't fault this place for a first visit. I will return."
