There was a constant hum/whir/noise in the room which made it too noisy to sleep. I then read other reviews that shared similar concerns about noise (eg Highway, upstairs neighbours, pub/restaurant) so went and stayed elsewhere.

I was just doing a night before heading south but all was adequate for that. If I was staying longer I would have liked a little more room comfort for a prolonged stay.

Art Hotel on York
The Art Hotel surprised us. It worked out well for our trip. It was next to the Catholic church, which was important for the lenten season and it surprised us.
